The District Court of Pyuthan has ordered to sentence 20 years old Mane Pariyar of Swargadwari Muicipality-2 for seven years after finding him guilty on raping 26 years old woman.
A single bench of District Court judge Bishnu Prasad Gautam had given the verdict regarding the case. The court has also ordered for the compensation of Rs 30,000 from the convict.
The accused had raped the woman on August 25 and the complaint against him was lodged at District Police Office on August 27 by the victim’s family. He was arrested by the police on September 14 and the victim underwent health checkup at District Hospital of Bijuwar on August 27.
