The District Court of Dang has ordered to sentence 55 years old elderly man for six years after finding guilty on sexually abusing 10 and 13 years old girls. The court has also ordered for the compensation of Rs 5,000 from the accused.
A single bench of District Court judge Hemanta Rawal had given the verdict regarding the case. The complaint against the accused was lodged at Area Police Office of Tulsipur on January 16 by the victim’s family.
Both girls underwent health checkup at Rapti Provincial Hospital on a same day the complaint was lodged. Police said that the convict is grandfather of both victims.
