Police have arrested 55 years old Anish Pandey of Tilottama Municipality-8, Deepnagar on March 1 on charge of raping 14 years old girl.
The victim was raped by the accused on March 1 and complaint against him was lodged at Area Police Office of Butwal by the victim’s mother.
DSP Dil Bahadur Malla of DPO said that the accused was arrested based on the complaint lodged by the victim’s mother.
The victim underwent health checkup at Lumbini provincial hospital on a same day according to police.
