The District Court of Siraha has ordered to sentence 14 years old girl and 17 years old boy of Karjnha Municipality-6 for 23 days each along with Rs 10,000 penalty on charge of child marriage.
A single bench of District Court judge Sudarshan Pandey ordered to sentence them on January 27.
The father of a girl had lodged complaint at Area Police Office of Mirchaiya on August 20 on charge of child marriage on July 17.
Both were arrested by police on August 20 and were released on a bail amount of Rs 15,000 each.
