Til Bahadur Mahara, 55, from Bangalachuli Rural Municipality-6, who was in Ghorahi prison house on charge of a rape case, died on at around 7:00 pm on January 9 while receiving treatment at Rapti Institute of Health Sciences, Superintendent of Police of Dang Bel Bahadur Pandey said. According to Pandey, Mahara was rushed to the hospital at 4:00 on Wednesday afternoon after the jail bird had swollen legs and hands, and difficulties in breathing.
