The District Court of Dang has ordered to sentence 23 years old Tilak Dangi of Tulsipur Sub-metropolis-14 on December 18 after finding him guilty on raping 21 years old woman.
A single bench of District Court judge Hemanta Rawal had given the verdict regarding the case. The court has also ordered for the compensation of Rs 40,000 from the convict.
The accused was arrested by the police on August 16 on charge of rape on August 12.
The victim underwent health checkup at Rapti sub regional hospital on August 16. Another accused Sunil Basnet, 24 was acquitted by the court.
