The District Court of Udayapur has ordered to sentence 21 years old Rabin Rai of Chaudandigadhi Municipality-2 for 10 years after finding him guilty on raping seven years old girl. The court has also ordered to for the compensation of Rs 20,000.
A single bench of district court judge had given the verdict regarding the case.
The victim was raped on June 21 and complaint against him was lodged at Area Police Office of Beltaar on June 29. On June 29, she underwent health checkup at Primary Health Centre and by the court order on July 22, he was remanded in custody.
