Ward chairman Ram Naresh Mahato of Ram Nagar Rural Municipality-4 was intimidated by an unidentified group on October 29 leaving him injured.
He was attacked by an unidentified group of 15-16 people while going to his office.
The victim sustained head, legs and backbone injuries and receiving treatment at health institute according to police.
The reason behind the attack is unknown and search for those involved in an attack is undergoing according to police.
