Police have arrested 40 years old Hira Bahadur Bhattarai of Inaruwa Municipality-6, Madhesa on October 14 on charge of raping a woman.
The victim was raped by an accused in 2000 and was absconding since then. He was arrested by a team of DPO on 14th October.
Bhattarai was convicted as guilt after arrested from Ramdhuni Municipality Jhumka Bazar and was sentenced for 9 years 5 months according to DSP Gyanendra Phuyal. The Supreme Court had convicted him as guilt in 2010.
