Police have arrested Jaya Bahadur Shahi,35 of Tripurasunderi Municipaloty-1 on October 8 on charge of beating and alleging 44 years old Mankumari Shahi of the same place being witch.
The victim had lodged complaint against the accused at Police Post in Tripirakot on October 8 .
The accused was arrested after the complaint was lodged at Police on October 7 according to police post in charge Tek Bahadur Deuba. Both parties have been summoned at police post for discussion according to police.
