School Closed due to the viral outbreak

There is a seasonal viral outbreak at Naugadh Rural Municipaloity-1 Sundamandu in Darchula affecting the children and senior citizens of the area.

Teacher Prem Singh Thagunna of Kedareshwor Secondary School said that at least 50% of 350 students are affected by the viral outbreak.

This has affected the studies of the students due to the closure of the school from October 5. The school was supposed to be closed for Dashain festival however it is closed earlier due to the outbreak.

A team of health professionals are deployed in the affected area and medicine has been distributed.

Chief Ramesh Singh Thagunna of Community Health Unit said that medicine has been distributed to the affected school.

Ward chairman Narendra Singh Thagunna of Naugadh Rural Municipality-2 said that immediate medicine and health professionals have been provided to the affected area. Patients are advised to use hot water , personnel hygiene and are told to make their area clean to stop the outbreak.
