Patients facing difficulties due to the disruption of transportation

Patients of the district are facing difficulties in treatment after the transportation is disrupted due to the landslide followed by the rain.

Locals are compelled to carry patients in a stretcher and walk for hours to reach the hospital.

After the disruption of road from Musikot Khalanga to Peugha, Nuwakot and Kholagaun area , transportation is disrupted from the last three months.

Recently one child died on the way to the hospital in a stretcher after he could not get treatment on time. He would have survived if immediate treatment was provided according to local Sher Man Khadka.

Many pregnant women are facing difficulties for their health checkup as there is no transportation. Locals are compelled to carry them in a stretcher by walking for hours.

” If roads are constructed, it would be very easy to take patients to the hospital in Jeep or ambulance”, says locals Dilli Bahadur Khadka of Triveni Rural Municipality-10.

The road will be constructed before the end of September says Chairperson Jhakku Prasad Gharti of Triveni Rural Municipality. Similarly the road  inside the municipality area will be renovated immediately according to mayor Devi Lal Gautam of Musikot Municipalilty.
