The District Court of Panchthar has ordered to sentence 24 years old Buddhi Kerung of Phalelung Rural Municipality-8 for eight years after finding him guilty on raping 14 years old girl.
A single bench of District Court judge Manoj KC had given the verdict regarding the case.
The victim’s party had lodged complaint at police office 2016 December 6 against the accused on charge of rape on December 5. He was immediately arrested by the police after the complaint and was remanded in custody since then.
