Tarun Dal leader and chairperson of Rolpa Municipality, Rohit Pun ,29,was shot dead on the evening of September 9.
He died after bullet was fired at Rest Point Resturant and Bar near the Area Police Office at Sulichaur at around 5 pm in the evening according to CDO Ganja Bahadur MC of Rolpa.
Police have arrested 30 years olf Dev Bahadur Gharti of Rolpa Municipality-10 on charge of his involvement in the incident.
Police have confiscated pistol and controlled the vehicle with registration number Ba12Cha7352.
Pun was shot three times in his chest. The arrested is the supporter of former Maoist centre according to police. Prior to this he did a jail term according to the police.
The incident is under the investigation and the body of the deceased is sent for the postmortem.
