Police have arrested 26 years old Roshan Gurung on August 11 on charge of alleging mother and daughter from Dharche Rural Municipality-6, Kashigaun of being witch.
The victim’s party had lodged complaint against the accused at District Police Office on August 5 as they were alleged of being witch and were responsible on death of 52 years old Bhim Gurung.
The victim’s party said that they were alleged of being witch and he provoked others to ostracize them from the village according to DSP Mahendra Nepal of District Police Office of Gorkha. The incident is under the investigation according to police.
