The accused of murder, Social development state minister Abhi Ram Sharma of province number 2, has surrendered himself to District Court of Jaleshwor on August 13 according to registrar Ramananda Prasad Adhikari of District Court of Mahottari.
ASI Thaman B.K, an armed policeman working at border security Jalsagar was heinously killed in 2015 September 11 during Madhes agitation. He was an accused of the same murder case. The absconding accused has surrendered himself to the court with an application through legal practitioner Ramesh Kumar Pandey.
He in his application stated that he presented himself in the court by respecting the Mandamus issued by the court.
He was appointed as a minister in province number 2 while his case was not decided.
Meanwhile, the high court of Janakpur had issued an order to present him in an court and arrest him.
