The Human Rights activists of Dharche Rurall Municipality-6, Kashugaun Gorkha have presented the memorandum to CDO Narayan Bhattarai and drawn the attention on the incident of witchcraft allegation and ostracizing one family.
The memorandum was handed over in coordination from INSEC and District Human Rights network.
On July 26 local Bhim Gurung died and his body was cut into pieces by the locals to find out the frogs and snake in his body believing that he died because of black magic spell. The memorandum drew the attention on witch craft allegation and ostracizing a family alleging them of being witch. They have also demanded for the proper investigation of the incident.
