Police in coordination with Shanti Re-establishment House have rescued 16 and 17 years old girls who were attempted to be trafficked in India through the border of Krishna Nagar on June 26.
Police said that the girls were lured for a better job in India and were being taken via border according to coordinator Bhumi Raj Bhattarai of Shanti re-establishment House, Krishna Nagar.
Police have rescued both girls and investigation of the case is undergoing. Area Police Office of Krishna Nagar said that both victims were handed over to the family.
