The District Court of Terathum has ordered to sentence 44 years old Surya Bahadur Tolangi Sarki of Lali Gurans Municipality-2 for seven years after finding him guilty on raping 15 years old girl. The accused was remanded in custody before the court verdict.
A single bench of District Court judge Narayan Prasad Parajuli had given the verdict regarding the case. The court has also ordered to compensate victim with Rs 90,000.
The complaint was lodged against the accused in 2017, June 9 against rape.
