The District Court of Dang has ordered to sentence 34 years old Dinesh Adhikari of Tulsipur Sub-metropolitan-6 and 20 years old Dilip Oli of the same place for 10 years after finding them guilty on gang raping 20 years old woman.
A single bench of District Court judge Ishwori Prasad Gautam had given the verdict regarding the case on May 22. The court has also ordered for the compensation of Rs 25,000 from the accused to the victim.
The victim was gang raped by the accused duo eight months ago and complaint against them was lodged by the victim’s party at Area Police Office of Tulsipur.
The victim underwent health checkup at Rapti Zonal Hospital on a September 26. On September 27, the accused was arrested by the police for investigation.
