The Manthali Municipality has endorsed 11 laws through city assembly according to vice-mayor Maya Karki of Manthali Municipality.
According to Karki, the judicial committee procedure implemented prior to this has been amended. The municipality will perform its judicial duty under this procedure.
Similarly, press and radio operating and monitoring procedure regulation, cooperation act, elementary and secondary education act, local health and hygiene act, decision of executive, equality procedure regulation, institutionalized act, officials code of conduct, market monitoring manual, city police manuals and local gazette publication procedure has been issued by the city assembly according to Karki.
Prior to this, the municipality was facing difficulty on its operation due to the lack of laws and policy. Karki said that the operation of daily work will be easy after the formulation of acts.
