The inmates and detainees of district prison of Gorkha are in agitation saying that they are being suppressed by prison leader and associates.
The inmates and detainees complained that they are suppressed by 12 leaders of the prison. They complained of being charged more telephone tariff, charged of sports materials and many other abuses. The inmates and detainees have padlocked the entry of the prison as agitation.
The inmates and detainees have also demanded for transfer of prison leaders. The District Administration Office is investigating the issue according to branch chief Shashi Dhar Subedi of the office. There are 101 inmates and detainees in the prison.
