Police have arrested 58 years old grandfather on April 2 based on a verbal complaint lodged against him for rape.
The written complaint was lodged by the victim’s party at police office on April 3 and investigation on the incident has been initiated according to DSP Bam Dev Gautam of District Police Office of Panchthar. The victim underwent a health checkup at District Hospital on April 3.
The incident was hidden from a long time and she became a victim pf multiple rape. The incident was not made public due to the threat by the accused according to the victim’s party.
