Karan Rana, 34 and Raju Rana, 30 of Shiva Nath Rural municipality-6 thanked INSEC for its support on delivering them justice.
Both victims were expelled from the school from their teaching profession after they were accused of assisting non-dalit girl on eloping with dalit boy. They were even ostracized from the village on the allegation.
The District Court had given a verdict on the case of the both victims on February 18.
A single bench of district court judge Bishnu Prasad Gautam had given a verdict regarding the case. On a same case other six accused were acquitted by the court.
The court had ordered to sentence 16 years old girl for two years along with Rs 8,00,000 as a compensation.
INSEC was advocating for both the dalit teachers from the beginning. The victims have praised INSEC for its initiation on providing justice to the innocent through the district representative Nari Badu.
INSEC had provided financial support of Rs 10,000 at the time they were displaced.
