The victim’s party of temporary policemen Bibek Aidi of Raskot Municipality-2 , who died in a police firing, has demanded to make the report of the investigation committee public. The family has handed over the memorandum to Home Ministry on January 12.
The high level investigation committee was formed under the coordination of Home secretary Man Bahadur B.K along with police DIG Ramesh Kharel and armed police DIG to investigate the case. The committee has already finished their study.
The investigation team had consoled the victim’s family to provide them the truth within seven days however the team is silent about the issue according to victim’s father Hari Bahadur. The family handed over the memorandum to the home ministry secretary through acting CDO Raj Kumar Dulal demanding to publicize the report.
The family had warned to go for agitation of the report is not made public.
The investigation committee has handed over its report to the Home Minsitry on January 9 however it has not been made public yet.
