Police have arrested 26 years old Gopiya alias Ram Kumar Maliyah of Dakneshwori Municipality-8 and 25 years old Sanjeeta Devi Saafi of the same place on January 1 on charge of polygamy.
Both the accused were arrested based on the complaint lodged by Sanjeeta Safi’s husband Santabir Saafi on January 1 according to inspector Sujata Tumbahamphe of DPO. Both the accused eloped from the village and got married second time.
