Health is one of the sensitive issue and on top of that if the patient could not get the treatment on time they might lose their life.
In the same context, the same scene was created in the District hospital on December 26 which is the serious example of negligence. On December 26 three seriously injured people in the accident at Rautamai Rural Municipality-6 were rushed to the hospital where there were not even a single doctors.
After not getting treatment in emergency ward, security personnel from District Police Office conducted the treatment to the patients. Police constable Surendra lamsal of DPO said that he used his skill to treat the patients.
He said, “I waited for a while and no body turned up. I could not see their pain and I did primary treatment and send them to other hospital.” The health assistant Shyam Narayan Chaudhary reached the hospital after the patients were primarily treated.
After doctors did not turned up in the hospital, the situation outside the hospital was tensed for a while. After that, CDO Pradeep Raj Kandel, SP Nawa Raj Bhatta of DPO and DSP Purna Chandra Bhatta and team of journalists reached the hospital.
This kind of negligence on this height has led the patients to suffer more. The staffs said that this situation has started especially after superintend Dr Phadindra Baral was transferred from the hospital.
