The meeting held by the District Security Committee on November 27 has determined all 426 polling centers under 258 polling stations of all four constituencies to be very sensitive.
The Chief District Officer Babu Ram Shrestha said that all polling stations of the district are very sensitive and first priority of security will be given to voters and candidates. He added that there will be no compromise on security of voters and candidates.
He further said that due to the mobilization of adequate security forces, the polling centers are much secured. He appealed voters to vote without having any fear.
Along with the series of incidents of bomb explosions, all polling centers have been tagged as very sensitive and security management have been made accordingly.
Polling centers in Mahottari are very sensitive because it is bordering with India. Along with the approaching date of election, the security has been mobilized in the district. Security has been managed in three cordons according to the CDO Shrestha.
