Police have arrested Surya Bahadur Bhandari, 24, of Modi Rural Municipality-5, Bajung on September 30, 2021, on the charge of attempted trafficking of a 14-year-old girl.
According to Inspector Rajendra Adhikari of the District Police Office, Parbat told INSEC that the victim was lured and separated from her family on September 22. Later, she was then taken to Jogbani border. The complaint was lodged against the accused at the District Police Office, Parbat on September 29.
He added that the accused was arrested from Shivalaya Chowk in Kushma Municipality-6 after receiving a complaint from the victim.
The victim has been examined at the District Hospital, Parbat on September 30.
