The candidates in Khotang are found to be using vehicles in their election campaign without taking permission from the district election office.
Total of nine parties for state assembly and 10 for House of representative have given their candidacy for the upcoming election and none of the candidates have seek permission from the election office according to chief polling officer Kishore Ghimire.
Candidate Saraswoti Bajimaya of Nepali Congress for HoR, state assembly candidate Subash Kumar Pokhrel and Bishnu Kumar Rai has been found of using vehicle without the permission from the election office.
Meanwhile candidates of left alliance are also found to be using vehicles without having the permission. According to paragraph 2 (A) of the election code of conduct issued by the election office, none of the political parties or candidates can use vehicle for election campaigning or dissemination without taking permission from the election office.
According to the chief polling office Kishroe Ghimire, none of the political parties have taken any permission to use vehicle and they will be cautioned if the complaint is lodged against them and further legal process will be initiated if the party still violates the CoC.
