Nepali Congress candidate from Udayapur, Narayan Bahadur Karki including other two cadres who were injured in an ambush attack in the district were airlifted to Kathmandu for further treatment on November 29.
In an explosion, Dhanamaya Dhaulakoti of Udayapurgadhi Rural Municipality-7, 36 years old Rajan Karki and police constable Kalidas Shrestha were injured according to DSP Megh Raj Adhikari of DPO.
The ambush was detonated while the candidate Narayan Bahadur Karki was on the way to address the election assembly of Nepali Congress at Nepaltar Bazar in Udayapurgadhi Rural Municipality-6.
