An unidentified group of people have detonated a bomb targeting the Maoist center candidate Narayan Kaji Shrestha who is a HoR candidate for the constituency number 2 in Gorkha on November 17.
SP Prakash Adhikari of DPO said that the bomb was planted in the silver dish and was detonated by remote. The investigation is underway according to him.
The bomb was detonated in Chebetaar of Gorkha municipality-11. The vehicle sustained a minor damage by the explosion.
The vehicle was used by the proportionate candidate Nara Bahadur Gurung and UML District leader Bikal Kumar Shrestha.
The incident is under investigation according to police.
