The District Administration Office of Sankhuwasabha said that 35 polling centers of the district are categorized to be very sensitive in security point of view in context of upcoming HoR and state assembly election.
Out of 153 polling centers in the district, 35 are categorized to be very sensitive, 28 as sensitive and 90 as normal according to Chief District Officer (CDO) Shiva Raj Adhikari.
The categorization is based on geographical proximity, political situation, political division and other security related threat.
In very sensitive polling centers, the security has been managed accordingly according to the CDO Joshi.
For the first phase of election on November 26, about 3,000 security personnel has been mobilized in the district according to the district security committee.
