Chief District Officer Jitendra Basnet of Gorkha said that 68 polling stations of the district are categorized as too sensitive on security point of view. He added that remaining 133 are sensitive and 12 normal.
” We have analyzed and categorized the sensitivity of the polling stations on various bases” said CDO Basnet. Un healthy competition between political parties, geographic remoteness, contraband weapons are taken as a challenge, he said. He added that the possible obstruction from group with anti-election and anti-constitution activities is taken into consideration.
CDO Basnet said that pre-election, election day and post election security strategies are being made.
