Student’s study affected due to the crunch in course book

Students are facing difficulties in their studies after there was a crunch in books even after the beginning of education session eight months ago.

Karnali Secondary School, Kanti Lower Secondary School, Kailash Secondary School, Saipal Himal Secondary School, Kanti Lower Secondary School, Bal Mandir Secondary and other schools in Simkot rural municipality were in a book crunch. Similarly, there are book crunch in schools at Kharpu Nath rural municipality and Sarkegadh rural municipality.

More than 7,000 students are affected by the shortages in books. According to the principal Dev Bahadur Buda of Saipal Himal Secondary School, they could not get the books for eight months despite of several demand which has severely affected the studies of students.

District Education Officer Madan Kumar Thapa said that books have not been received despite of several demands. He added that the shortage is due to the delay in printing of books by Janak Education Center.
