A peace rally was organized along with the commitment of maintaining religious peace and harmony between Hindu and Muslim community in Guleriya Municipality-11 on October 6.
On October 1, there was a clash between Hindu and Muslim devotees over the issue of concluding the idol. The religious harmony was disturbed and tension was created between the communities after the dispute. The peace rally was organized to maintain the harmony among the two religious groups.
The rally was organized after the continuous attempt and involvement of irrigation minister Sanjaya Kumar Gautam, Mayor Mukti Nath Yadav of Guleriya Municipality, Chairperson Nasruddin Sesh of Muslim Commission. The rally was participated by Hindu,Muslim, Sikh and people from various religious group with the objective of peace and harmony in the society. People were happy after the religious dispute was settled and harmony was created in the society.
