The UML cadres have attacked and injured Sekh Khairullaha,60 of Brindaban Municipality-9, Sekh Merajul and Mohammad Saimullah on September 23 while they were in victory rally of Nepali Congress.
The cadres of Nepali Congress were in a victory rally after winning the post of both mayor and vice-mayor of Brindaban Municipality when they were immediately attacked by UML cadres in presence of UML mayor candidate Binod Patel.
The clash started after the NC cadres started to dance and merry making in front of the house of defeated mayor candidate Binod Patel at Ward number 5. The UML cadres attacked them with sharp weapons and bamboo stick leaving four of them seriously injured according to NC District chairperson Ram Krishna Yadav. The injured are receiving treatment at Chandranigahapur Hospital.
Similarly, in Gadhimai Municipality, the cadres if RJP have attacked the victory rally of Nepali Congress. In Gadhimai Municipality, for the post of Mayor, Shyam Yadav and for Vice-Mayor Subhadra Gupta were elected from Nepali Congress.
In the incident site, police and armed police have been deployed according to CDO Uddav Bahadur Thapa.
