Police have arrested 38 years old Krishna Bahadur Ale Magar of Dailekh Aathbiskot Municipality-8 and driver Laxmi Prasad Acharya, 34 of Surkhet Birendranagar Municipality-1 on September 3 on charge of murdering 19 years old Mansara Neupane of Tilagupha Municipality-5 after raping her.
The civil society of women in Kalikot had demonstrated in Manma Bazar on September 4 demanding the action against the accused.
The victim’s family accused of murdering after rape by taking her hostage. The complaint was lodged against the accused at police on September 3 and police had arrested the accused duo on a same day.
The victim who lost her consciousness after rape was fed with poison by the accused according to victim’s family. The postmortem of the body was conducted at District Hospital of Dailekh on September 4.
