The locals of Simikot have staged sit-in-protest in front of CDO office on August 26 complaining that the one and only District Public Health of the district did not provided the health services to its beneficiaries.
One of the beneficiaries complained that Akash Singh, patients of Typhoid reached the hospital however the doctors hesitated to provide him services.
Local Prakash Singh said that they were compelled to stage sit-in-protest after the services provided by the public health office was unsatisfactory. He added that a despite of providing service to the patient, the health officials are misbehaving them.
The information officer Naresh Babu Shrestha said that he is ignorant about the incident. Chief District Officer Rishi Prakash Sitaula said that the issue will be discussed.
