There has been medicine crisis in various health organizations of the district. The government had decided to provide free medicines to the patients however there are severe shortages in medicine.
From the past few days the patients of fever are increasing in the district but the district hospital do not have even Citamol tablets. Children are mostly suffering from the fever but the health organizations do not have liquid syrup Citamol for children said senior AHW Kul Bahadur Dangi of District Health Office Rolpa.
Chief Dr Bhawani Prasad Sharma of District Public health Office said that the responsibility to supply medicine comes under rural municipality and Municipality.
