The re:election at Kotahimai village council-1 has been conducted peacefully on June 30. The election was postponed after a ward candidate Mrali Mallaha of Maoist center died on June 28 according to polling officer Manoj Gaire.
Gaire said that the locals were very excited to vote as they have not voted for the local election for almost two decades. The voters walked three kilometers to cast their vote. Some of the voters were even carrying infant to cast votes.
