Police have arrested 10 artists affiliated to Nepal Communist Party led by Netra BIkram Chand on charge of their involvement in anti-election activities.
Police have arrested them after they finished their cultural program at Sukidaha Village council Pachabang.
The arrestees include five children along with Roshan Dangi, 23 of Duikholi Village council-3, Tara Pariyar, 18 of Sunchahari Village Council-5, Krishna Pun, 20 of Jaimakasla, Sameer Pun, 20.
They will be charged under the public offence according to CDO Dr Dijen Bhattarai.
The District Secretary Dal Bahadur Khatri “Jagriti” of the party said that ten artists were arrested by the police while they were in a cultural program.
