The District Court of Udayapur has ordered to sentence 19 years old Pramod Kumar Sada of Surunga Municipality-1 of Chaha Saptari after finding him guilty on raping 19 years old girl.
A single bench of district court judge Mahendra Bahadur Karki on June 5 had given a verdict regarding the case.
The victim girl had lodged a complaint on a same day on February 24 against the accused at DPO Bokse.
The victim underwent a health checkup at Gaighat Hospital on a same day. The accused was arrested and remanded in custody on March 23.
