The victim’s party of 23 years old Punita Shahi of Chayanath Rara Municipality-7 accused District Police Office (DPO) of denying registering the complaint of intimidation to the victim by policeman Yam Lal Adhikari and Sunita Nagarkoti at Rara airport on June 4.
The victim said she went to DPO seeking for justice after both the policemen had beaten her with stick. The victim sustained head, back and chest injuries and undergoing treatment at District hospital.
DSP Sharada Prasad Chaudhary said that both the accused will be summoned and will discuss about the incident. He added that the accused will be charged under the law if found guilty.
