The cadres of United Madhesi Morcha had set fire at village council board in Bhangaha and padlocked the office on March 22.
The cadres have padlocked the office demanding for the amendment of the constitution. They have boycott the election saying that they cannot participate in the upcoming election until the constitution is not amended.
The daily work of village council was started on March 16 during a program by hanging village council board.
The election commission office of Mahottari had to postpone their meeting called on to add some constituency number in the district due to the Madhesi agitation.
The meeting had to be postponed after the protest from some Madhesi leaders according to election officer Pinky Rai.
The election commission of Mahottari had already informed about the postponed meeting to the central election commission office in Kathmandu.
