The victims, Karna Bahadur B.K, 65 of Singhasain VDC-9, Ashe BK,55, Ram Singh BK, 28, Kashi BK,30 and Udaya Ram B.K,23 have accused that they were beaten by the locals while they were performing sacrifice of animal as per their rites in Khodai Temple.
They were restricted by the locals to sacrifice in Khodai temple on October 11 based on their caste. A group of about 25 people from Singhasain VDC-9 with lathis in their hands entered into the temple and obstructed the rituals according to Udaya Ram B.K.
Kashi B.K and Ram Singh B.K were injured in a clash and underwent local treatment as there is no hospital nearby.
Udaya Ram B.K said that he came to District Police Office to lodge complaint for caste discrimination.
