The complaint forms filled by earthquake victims whose names were missed from beneficiary lists have been dumped inside the bag of VDC secretary. The forms were dumped in the bag after the management committee did not show any concern on victims’ complaints.
The victims had handed over complaints forms to VDC secretary on June/July however they have not been received in District. Padam Pariyar, chief of District Development Committee’s computer department said that VDC secretary had only given the number of victims who made complaints.
Local Development Officer Yagya Bahadur Khatri said that due to the pressure in grant distribution process, complaints could not be investigated however the committee’s members complained that investigation is not initiated due to the lack in concern by Local Development Officer.
In Okhaldhunga district, 577 families have received grant agreement out of 17300.
