Police have arrested Man Singh Mahara,75 on August 12 on charge of injuring his wife Man Kumari Mahara,65 of Liwang Municipality-7, Dharapani by attacking her with a sharp weapon.
Police said that Man Singh attacked his wife with a Khukuri over a normal dispute between them. He was arrested after a victim lodged a complaint at District police office of Liwang on August 12.
The victim sustained serious injuries on her head and backbone. She is undergoing treatment at Kohalpur medical college of Banke according to Inspector Keshav Basnet.
