Police have arrested Mayaram Chaudhary, 32, of Pratappur Rural Municipality-3, Ghodaha on September 15, 2021, on the charge of raping a 15-year-old girl.
The victim’s family had lodged a complaint at the Area Police Office, Belatari on September 14 alleging that the accused had raped her the same day. Inspector Krishna Prasad Pokharel of the Area Police Office, Beltari said that the accused was arrested based on the complaint.
The health checkup of the victim was conducted at Prithvichandra District Hospital on September 14, 2021.
