Police have arrested Ramesh Thapa Magar, 37, of Chetana Chowk, Mahalakshmi Municipality-9 on September 8, 2021, on the charge of raping a 32-year-old woman.
The victim had lodged a complaint against the accused at the Metropolitan Police Range, Satdobato on September 8, alleging that he had raped the victim on September 7.
According to SP Prajwal Maharjan of the Metropolitan Police Range, Jawalakhel, the accused has been remanded in custody by the Lalitpur District Court for five days.
The victim has been examined at Patan Hospital, Jawalakhel on September 8.
